These Terms govern your use of Make Me Invisible at makemeinvisible.com (the “Service”). “We”, “us” and “our” refer to the operator of Make Me Invisible. By using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
Make Me Invisible offers a free exposure scan that checks an email address against public data-breach databases and returns a plain-English report, and a paid report and removal kit ($9 AUD, one-time) with additional guidance and opt-out tools. The Service is an information and self-help tool — it is not legal, financial, security or professional advice.
You may only scan or check an email address, password or identifier that you own or are lawfully authorised to check. You must not use the Service to look up, investigate or surveil any other person. You agree not to misuse the Service, interfere with it, or use it for any unlawful purpose. We may suspend or terminate access for any breach of these Terms.
Breach and exposure data comes from third-party public sources and may be incomplete, out of date, or inaccurate. We present it on an “as is” basis and do not warrant its accuracy or completeness. The report is a starting point for your own decisions — not a definitive or exhaustive record of your exposure.
The paid report is $9 AUD as a one-time charge, processed securely by Stripe. Prices may include promotional discounts shown at checkout. By paying, you authorise the charge and confirm the email address used for delivery is your own.
If you are not satisfied with your paid report, email support@makemeinvisible.com within 30 days of purchase from the email address used for the order, and we will refund your $9 in full — no need to explain why. Refunds are returned to your original payment method. This guarantee is in addition to any rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service and all reports are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that it will identify all of your exposure.
We are not liable for anything you find through the Service, for any action or decision you take based on a report, for the content or conduct of any third-party website (including data brokers), or for any breach, identity theft, loss or damage — whether or not it appears in your report. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim connected with the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim (and is nil if you used only the free scan).
You agree to indemnify us against any claim, loss or cost arising from your misuse of the Service or your breach of these Terms — including any use of the Service to check an identity that is not your own.
We may update these Terms from time to time. The “last updated” date shows the current version, and continued use of the Service means you accept the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Australia, and you submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the Australian courts.
